Cassie | Copywriter 🇸🇬 who was born in cosmopolitan Singapore to immigrant parents from Kuching, Sarawak. But her adventurous streak only truly began when she ventured out of her comfort zone to live and study in Australia and the U.S. She spends most of her time writing for a living and for fun, doing relaxing exercises, and figuring out the differences between Hokkien, Teochew and Cantonese.
& Eric | Engineer 🇺🇸 who moved from small-town Minnesota to San Francisco to progress his career in tech, and found himself moving even further across the Pacific Ocean to Singapore in pursuit of new worldly experiences. When he's not writing code and/or eating peanut butter and apples, you'll probably find him in the middle of a lake with his fly-fishing rod, waiting for his next catch.

Being apart is difficult, and our common passion for travel has played a huge role in helping us overcome the challenges of LDR. This website is just a way for us to map our adventures and document the trips we've taken together (and apart), so we'll have fond memories to look back on – and look forward to more.
We plan for spontaneity
Our travel style is quite the oxymoron: we plan to be spontaneous. After many trips together, we've learnt that we simply prefer to lay out a general plan, and figure out the rest when we get there.
So instead of detailed itineraries and in-depth guides, what you'll find here are stories of how we make travel decisions on a whim, the experience of being nomadic, and unexpected encounters. From not booking a hotel on purpose in Japan, to getting into a stranger's car in Indonesia, we hope our adventures will inspire you to plan some spontaneity into your travels as well!
